To round up the great time I had in Austin at SXSW, I spent the afternoon/evening with a bunch of cool technologists at Richard and Conrad's TownHoller.

Apologies for the gratuitous nature of this post but just wanted to say how awesome the Segway is as a piece of technology.
These suckers go for close to $6,000, which based on when I last bought a Vespa, is well above the price of that awesome piece of Italian engineering. The technology is incredible. The pricing is prohibitive. However, when you go to Austin, make sure you give this mode of transport a try.
